The White House may or may not be notoriously known for being handsy with data (big brother anyone?) but it looks like they may actually be using their resources for good.
In collaboration with the likes of Google, IBM, and Microsoft, the White House is working to prove themselves responsible with their collection of big data by asking for the public’s input on acceptable uses for all those numbers.
From projects for new climate initiatives to building efficient earthquake protocols and enhancing police accountability, it looks like a data-government partnership could be a serious force for good.
We most appreciate that there is an invitation for all to hop on the train for White House projects with Big Data. Check it out, and join the dialogue here!
